Operations Management Technology Undergraduate Degrees
The Department of Technology Management offers two undergraduate programs with an operations management technology emphasis: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.). The purpose of these programs are to prepare undergraduate students for supervisory and management functions in industry, manufacturing, public service, and other service organizations.
The operations management technology Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Applied Science programs provide the tools needed for success as a manager. An effective manager is someone who can organize work, understands the work environment and can create a safe and healthful work environment, hires qualified workers that can do the job or can be trained/educated to perform the job, motivates and develops the workforce, effectively utilizes the resources available to create quality products and/or services, and accomplishes his/her unit’s part in the mission of the organization.
