Bachelor of Science Degrees

The Department of Technology Management offers three Bachelor of Science degrees with disciplines focusing on the use of technology in specific areas of industry. Each 120-semester-hour program combines 38 semester hours of general studies with 82 semester hours of focused technical courses that will provide you with skills in management, quality, and communications, as well as the opportunity to build strengths in specific areas of industry.

Bachelor of Applied Science Degrees

The Department of Technology Management has nine concentration areas for the Bachelor of Applied Science degree. The B.A.S. is a "capstone" or "inverted transfer" degree for the Associate of Applied Science degree. In completing the B.A.S you will complete all ASU graduation requirements. The goal of the program is to provide you with management, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills—along with significant work in a professional specialization—that will broaden your career horizons, promote life-long learning, and enrich your personal and civic life.

  • Digital Media Management
    The Digital Media Management concentration prepares graduates for technical positions in industries implementing, planning, and producing interactive communications, integrated media, and multimedia for design, training, and marketing.
  • Digital Publishing
    The Digital Publishing concentration prepares graduates for lead technical and entry-level management positions in the Printing and Publishing industry.
  • Emergency Management
    The Emergency Management concentration opens the door to a challenging career as a professional emergency manager. Students will learn how to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from various natural and technological disasters and emergencies. This degree has an online degree offering.
  • Fire Service Management
    The Fire Service Management concentration prepare students and practitioners to successfully perform managerial duties in federal, state, and local, fire departments and related fire service organizations by providing them with cutting-edge technology, education and skills in the areas of fire service. This degree has an online degree offering.
  • Internet and Web Development
    The Web site design concentration prepares graduates for careers in the ever-expanding arena of Web site design and publishing. This degree is available as an entirely online degree program.
  • Law Enforcement Management
    The Law Enforcement Management concentration prepare students and practitioners to successfully perform managerial duties in federal, state and local police departments and related law enforcement organizations, including institutions of higher learning. This degree has an online degree offering.
  • Municipal Operations Management
    The Municipal Operations Management concentration provides students with the skills needed for a successful career in the municipal operations or public works industries.
  • Operations Management Technology
    The Operations Management Technology concentration provides students with the tools needed for success as a manager. This degree has an online degree offering.
  • Technical Graphics
    The Technical Graphics concentration prepares graduates for positions in industries implementing technical and engineering graphics in Computer Aided Design and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.
